I just want to say "Thank You" for the support you have given me for the whole course. I could not have done it without you. I would like you to know that 

I appreciate all the help you extended me, the inspiring comments, and your patience.

I must tell you that I really have enjoyed your classes. You have opened up a whole new world of teaching for me. I was getting a bit jaded in my old age, 

but now I feel good about what I am doing. Thanks for everything.

I admire the balance you have created between being a highly competent, critical teacher and an empathetic peer. It is an uncanny combination. I haven’t written anything formally academic in many years as is the case with most of us in the class. What we need is someone who can take us from where we are in our abilities to where we need to be. And you’re just what the doctor ordered.

I just wanted to tell you that after a long and gruesome day, your positive feedback on my application really made my day :)  It's nice to have something uplifting every now and then when you're having a challenging year with kids. I appreciate your feedback every week, but this week's really made me smile. Thank you.

Do you remember my writing at the beginning of the year that I cannot write? You cannot know how much it meant to me to read the compliments on my writing on this last paper. Thanks for taking the time to correct my papers and show me things that have helped improve my writing! I have learned soooo much!

Thanks again for the feedback. After breaking up fights, confronting administrators, and having some really challenging kids it is little things that turn the 

day around. And the complimentary words on my work really made the difference.

Thanks for the encouraging words last week and providing me with a safe outlet “to stomp my feet” and rant a bit. As you can see, I’m still here, thanks to your understanding.

Thank you so much for being such an outstanding instructor. It was a bit intimidating to begin a master's program after so many years, but your guidance was very reassuring.

I was never sure if my work measured up to the quality of other classmates' work on the reflections and applications as we did not get to see these for comparisons. My confidence level has risen with the help of your comments.

I think you are an excellent instructor, and I was fortunate to have had you at the beginning of such a program. Your explanations and feedback were very thorough. You were always very prompt in responding to questions and concerns. Your insights were very helpful. I look forward to continuing my work in this program, but I will miss you as an instructor.

Do we get the honors of having you for our instructor next course?  You provide such a great course environment. I have learned so much from this course.

I wanted to thank you so very much for all you shared with me. As the days went by after I spoke with you, I recalled bits and pieces of what you said and 

a multitude of things fit into place, dreams began to formulate, and ideas for my future began to seep into the picture. What you told me was no less than 

pivotal for my understanding and appreciation of what I am doing with this degree.
